The model of MDSC/SIS Sling therapy for SUI (from [34]). MDSCs were firstly obtained from gastrocnemius muscle and subsequently seeded on a SIS scaffold. The MDSC/SIS Sling was cocultured for 2 weeks in vitro. Finally, the tissue-engineered suburethral sling was placed to repair a damaged urethral sphincter of SUI rat model via a midline transabdominal approach.
