Insulin-Like Growth Factor Binding Protein-6 Alters Skeletal Muscle Differentiation of Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells

<div>IGFBP-6 siRNA treatment maintained PMSCs cell morphology and inhibited IGFBP-6 secretion. PMSC skeletal muscle morphology was maintained for 7 days under muscle lineage differentiation conditions with (a) scrambled siRNA or (b) IGFBP-6 siRNA treatment. (c) Using ELISA, IGFBP-6 secretion was decreased at each time point with IGFBP-6 siRNA treatment that was applied every 3 days. Data is presented as the mean ± SEM of 3 independent experiments.
