Human Endometrial Regenerative Cells Attenuate Bleomycin-Induced Pulmonary Fibrosis in Mice

Figure 6

Treatment with ERCs diminishes pulmonary fibrosis by regulating cytokine profiles. The levels of IL-1β, TNF-α, and IL-10 in the lung and serum were detected by ELISA kit and compared among different groups. Data indicated that ERC treatment significantly decreased the levels of IL-1β and TNF-α, while it increased the level of IL-10 in both the lung and serum. Values represent mean ± SEM. ( versus the sham control group. and versus the untreated group, ). ERCs: endometrial regenerative cells; IL-1β: interleukin 1 beta; TNF-α: tumor necrosis factor-alpha; IL-10: interleukin 10.
