Representative images of immunohistochemical staining of kidneys after treatment with a MMF-MSC combination. MRL.Fas^lpr mice were intravenously injected with MSCs once at 12 weeks of age and with MMF orally twice a week from 10 to 19 weeks of age. Kidneys were isolated from surviving mice at 20 weeks of age. Kidney sections were stained with antibodies against CD19 (B cells), CD3 (T cells), F4/40 (macrophages), CD209b (dendritic cells), and Foxp3⁺ (Treg cells).
