The effect of H2O2 on DBMSC proliferation determined by the MTS assay. After 24 h, DBMSC (in-DBMSC) proliferation in the presence of 50 and 100 μM H2O2 did not change significantly () as compared to untreated DBMSCs. The proliferation of DBMSC preconditioned (pre-DBMSC) with 50 and 100 μM H2O2 significantly increased () as compared to DBMSC or DBMSC cultured (in-DBMSC) in 50 and 100 μM H2O2. Experiments were carried out in triplicate using DBMSCs (passage 3) prepared from five individual placentae. Bars represent standard errors.
