Mesenchymal Stem Cell-Derived Extracellular Vesicles for Corneal Wound Repair

<div>RNA expression level of the immune-related gene <i>in vitro</i>. qRT-PCR revealed that mRNA levels of IL-1<i>β</i>, IL-8, TNF-<i>α</i>, and NF-<i>κ</i>B in HCEs were highly decreased after treatment with EVs, while anti-inflammatory factor IL-10 was increased <i>in vitro</i>. In addition, the EV group significantly reduced apoptosis-related gene caspase 8 expression compared with the control groups.
