Characterization of primary adherent FBs and tSKPs. (a) Immunocytochemical of FBs. FBs expressed Fibronectin (red), Collagen I (red), Vimentin (red), and Nestin (red) and rarely expressed Versican (red), while were negative for Sox2 (red). Nuclei of all the cells were counterstained with DAPI (blue). (b) Cell surface marker expression of FBs (upper panel) and tSKPs (lower panel). Both FBs and tSKPs expressed CD90, CD105, CD73, and CD44, while lacking expression of negative cocktails. The expression rate of CD105 in FBs was significantly higher than in tSKPs ().
