Tissue-Derived Stem Cell Research 2017

Description

Studies of adult tissue-derived stem cells have been a focused research issue in recent decades. Adult stem cells such as bone marrow stem cells, adipose-derived stem cells, endothelial stem cells, and neural stem cells have been detected in tissues and have proven to be a feasible source of cell for tissue regeneration medicine in recent experimental and clinical studies. Successful regulation of the process that differentiates into the desired cell type should be addressed. Thus, all findings and experiences of stem cell research including tissue-derived stem cell research will open up new possibilities for the treatment of various diseases and extend the human life span. We invite researchers to contribute review articles as well as original articles.

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

  • Tracking of the fate or lineage mapping of adult stem cells in vivo
  • Stem cell and tissue regeneration and/or repair
  • Paracrine and autocrine effects of adult stem cell therapy
  • Immunomodulatory effects of mesenchymal stem cells from various sources including bone marrow, adipose tissues, and placental tissues
  • Safety of adult stem cell therapy
