Vasorelaxation Effect of Estrone Derivate EA204 in Rabbit Aorta

Endothelium-independent vasorelaxant effects of EA204 on denuded aortic rings of rabbits precontracted by phenylephrine (1 μM), norepinephrine (3 μM), high-K⁺ solution (60 mM), and BaCl₂ (2 mg/mL), respectively. Endothelium was removed mechanically by rubbing with a steel wire. Responses are expressed as a percentage of the maximum possible relaxation, that is, relaxation back to the baseline tension. Values indicated the means ± SEM ().
