Abstract

The presence of fixed points in a frequency response of vibrating systems can greatly complicate the vibration reduction if these points are not recognized. In this paper, the fixed points of two-degree of freedom systems are studied. The frequencies at which fixed points occur and their amplitudes are determined analytically.
