Effects of calcium-mediated signaling inhibitors on dobutamine-induced actions in neonatal rat cardiomyocytes. The neonatal rat cardiomyocytes were treated with 1 μmol/L cyclosporine A (CsA, calcineurin inhibitor) or 1 μmol/L KN93 (CaMK inhibitor) at 30 minutes prior to incubation with 1 μmol/L dobutamine for 4 hours. The cells were then harvested to measure PPARδ protein expression (a) and cTnI phosphorylation (b) using Western blotting analysis.
