Potential Regulatory Role of Gibberellic and Humic Acids in Sprouting of Chlorophytum borivilianum Tubers

Images of leaves (I), tuberous roots (II), and fibrous roots (III) of safed musli at 90 DAS with (a) for control, (b) for tubers treated with 20 mg  GA3, and (c) for tubers treated with 15% HA. Tuberous roots from control (a)(II) were less in number and were elongated while tubers treated with 15% HA (c)(II) were significantly higher in number with shorter tuber length. Similarly treated tubers had higher number of leaves (b)(I) and (c)(I) and total fibrous root length (b)(III) and (c)(III) compared to control (a)(I) and (a)(III).
