The iterative approach with feedback based on the law of minimum noise level, where is the terminating threshold. Generally, we will get a good result when the number of iterations is 3 (e.g., Figure 7). In Figures 5 and 6, “He-BM3D” is the result of dehazing by He et al. [7] prior to denoising by BM3D [18], which has the same noise level as our result with 3 iterations.
