The mechanism shows that the blue color of the antioxidant samples (the reduced product leading to the formation of intense Perl’s Prussian blue Fe4[Fe(CN)6]3 complex which is reduced to Fe2+) may change into yellow color upon addition of free Fe3+ ions (as illustrated through cuvettes).
