The mRNA expression of STAT-1 and STAT-4. Agarose gel electrophoresis was used for semiquantitative determination of PCR-amplified transcription factor of mRNA in colons; total RNA was extracted and was reverse-transcribed to cDNA. Amplification was performed by gene-specific primers with 2 μL cDNA for 25 cycles (β-actin) or 35 cycles (transcription factor).
