Health Informatics: Applications of Mobile and Wireless Technologies

Description

Health informatics is an evolving area facing many challenges at the operational and managerial levels. The increasing numbers of novel, heterogeneous nosocomial technologies present significant research opportunities. The purpose of this special issue is to explore applications of mobile and wireless technologies as they apply to data collection, storage, authentication and security, and our ability to understand and make use of this new information. Areas such as machine learning, robotics, and even blockchain, blended with wireless networks and mobile computing, can extend human abilities to tackle these issues.

In this special issue we invite papers in the fields of wireless communications and mobile computing with emphasis on health informatics.

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:
