Sketch of CrystalEyeCam radiographic camera; it uses a scintillator to convert X-rays into light, a set of two turning mirrors and an objective to relay the visible image from the scintillator to the CCD. The turning mirrors allow offsetting the CCD and the objective lenses from the direct X-ray flux.
