Conspicuity of Peripheral Zone Prostate Cancer on Computed Diffusion-Weighted Imaging: Comparison of cDWI1500, cDWI2000, and cDWI3000

Figure 4

Prostate cancer in a 65-year-old man with a PSA level of 10.5 ng/mL and a Gleason score of 5 + 4. (a) Transverse T2-weighted turbo-spin echo MR image shows the index lesion on midgland, right transitional zone. (b) On cDWI1500 image set anteriorly located lesion was barely seen because of inadequate background suppression. (c, d) On cDWI2000 and cDWI3000 image sets index lesion was more conspicuous. Also a tiny biopsy proven tumoral focus was identified in the right peripheral zone on cDWI2000 and cDWI3000 image sets.
