Cytotoxic Effects of Biosynthesized Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles on Murine Cell Lines

Table 1

Flow cytometric analysis of WEHI-3B cells after treated with ZnO-NPs. The cells were stained with FITC-conjugated annexin V and PI and incubated at 37°C for 12, 24, and 48 h, respectively.

Values are expressed as mean ± SD of three different experiments. The data has been analyzed using post hoc comparison test one-way ANOVA; means were compared by Tukey’s test. *Significant ( < 0.05) increased early apoptotic cells in ZnO-NPs treated groups compared to untreated controls. **Significant ( < 0.05) increased late apoptotic/necrotic cells in ZnO-NPs-treated groups compared to untreated controls.
