Characterization of a New Immunosuppressive and Antimicrobial Peptide, DRS-DA2, Isolated from the Mexican Frog, <i>Pachymedusa dacnicolor</i>

<div>DRS-DA2N and DRS-DA2NEQ present antifungal activities. <i>C. albicans</i> and <i>C. glabrata</i> cells were grown for 48 h at 30°C and diluted into fresh YPD media containing DRS-DA2N (a) and DRS-DA2NEQ (b) at 1.5, 3, or 15 <i>µ</i>M. OD<sub>600</sub> was determined every 15 min. The control corresponds to fungi without any peptide.</div>
