Effect of microalgae extracts in mammalian cancer cells. Cancer cells were treated with different extracts (see Table 1) of microalgae, and cell viability was measured after 24 hr using MTS assay. Each graph represents mean viability expressed in percentage of control. One-way ANOVA was used to compare the dose-dependent toxicity. , , , and , compared with control group.
