Nanofiber Manufacture, Properties, and Applications 2013

Description

Nanofibers have shown enormous potential in widely diverse applications. However, the technology development for large-scale production of nanofibers has been hampered. We invite authors to submit original research and review articles that promote the development of efficient nanofiber manufacture techniques. We are interested in articles that explore any aspects of large-scaled nanofiber production, theory, and quality control, and characterization and functional applications of the nanofibers. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Needleless electrospinning
  • Gas-jacket enhanced electrospinning
  • Bubble electrospinning
  • Centrifuge spinning and centrifuge electrospinning
  • Solution assembly of nanofibers
  • Spinning of continuous nanofiber yarns
  • Melt blowing of nanofibers
  • Control of nanofiber quality and nanofibrous structure
  • Nanofiber mass spinning theory
  • Characterization of nanofibers
  • Nanofiber yarns and 3D Nanofibrous structures
  • Functional applications
  • Novel properties

Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/jnm/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/jnm/nfmpa13/ according to the following timetable:
