Dependence of the heat flow from the wrist on ambient temperature measured by using the TEG-5 worn on the radial artery: (1) on a subject sitting for hours in the office at a metabolic rate of 1 MET, (2) on the same subject performing typical activity in the office at a metabolic rate of 1.2 MET, and (3) on the subject walking indoors, that is, at forced air convection. The lines are the guides for eyes.
