Demographic characteristics of the study population ( ). Classification of ethnic group is based on the National Central Bureau of Statistics [9]. Primary and secondary schooling indicate education up to grades 4 and 10, respectively. Other ethnic group includes Terai Dalit, disadvantaged Janajatis (Terai), disadvantaged non-Dalit Terai caste groups, and religious minorities. Other occupations include nonpaid, retired, and unemployed ones (unable to work).
