Heat-Resistant Ceramic Pigments on the Base of Waste Vanadium Catalyst and Alumina

Waste vanadium catalyst and alumina were used as raw materials. Obtained polyphase structure consists of mullite and corundum. NiO, Cr2O3 and Fe2O3 are embedded in the structure up to 10 wt. %. The pigments have a saturated color which is stable in overglaze dyes and glazes. The obtained pigments keep the firing temperature up to 1200 °C.
