As in Figure 6, but for the (a) Weddell Sea and (b) Indian Ocean sectors of Southern Ocean. Temperature anomaly in Weddell Sea sector has decreased by 0.2°C from the period 1982–91 to 2002–11. However, in Indian Ocean sector (around 90°E), the surface temperature of ocean deviates up to 0.4°C from the average from 1982–91 to 2002–11.
