Semiquantification of matrix mineralization was conducted by taking the optical density (resolution = 450 nm) of the ARS extracted from each treatment group. Vitamin D3 at both 1 μM and 10 μM dosages did not have a statistically significant effect on the ECM mineralization of OPC1 or MC3T3-E1 after 10 days, compared to the control group.
