GFL decrease the mRNA expression of proinflammatory cytokines. LPS activated microglial cells were pretreated with GFL. After 6 hrs, mRNA expression was analyzed using TaqMan qPCR of Cox-2 (a), IL-6 (b), IL-1 (c), and TNF- (d) and compared with LPS treated microglial cells. 18sRNA was used as an internal control.
