Note the 4.0 mm interlocking screws (DePuy-Synthes) from tibial nail set that were inserted in holes 1, 2, 5, and 7 to allow for screw purchase around the prosthesis. Two locking attachment plates were also used for additional fixation with 3.5 mm nonlocking screws.
