Synthesis of a vanadyl salen complex anchored to SWCNTs. Reagents and conditions: (i) 3 M HNO₃, reflux, 24 h; (ii) SOCl₂, DMF, 60°C, 24 h; and (iii) 2-aminoethanethiol hydrochloride, Et₃N, CH₂Cl₂, 45°C, 48 h.
