Wavelength splitter for multimode signals in an optical waveguide. Circular gray regions represent microdisks with excited WGMs. Linear gray regions represent an optical waveguide. 𝑟 𝐴 and 𝑟 𝐵 are the radii of disks 𝐴 and 𝐵 , respectively. Δ 𝐴 𝐴 is the gap spacing between disks 𝐴 ( Δ 𝐵 𝐵 analogously defined). Source is a superposition of wavelengths 𝜆 𝐴 and 𝜆 𝐵 . Disks 𝐴 and 𝐵 are excitable only by 𝜆 𝐴 and 𝜆 𝐵 , respectively.
