Possible currents operating in the photodiode. is ideal diffusion current, is the photocurrent, is due to a generation-recombination mechanism, is due to a band-to-band tunnelling, is due to a trap-to-band tunnelling, and is due to a surface and bulk leakage shunt resistance. Limiting currents act in opposition to diffusion current.
