Experiments on the Porch Swing Bearing of Michelson Interferometer for Low Resolution FTIR

The modulation depth of the interferometer with a properly machined and carefully assembled porch swing. The zero of the displacement was the equilibrium position of the spring elements. The maximum measurement error in the modulation was about 0.01 and in position about 0.03 mm.
