Axial T1 (a) and axial T2 (b) MR images show abnormal soft tissue infiltrating and surrounding the tibialis posterior tendon (arrows) adjacent to flexor digitorum tendon (arrowhead). Patient subsequently underwent surgery revealing complete rupture secondary to gout.
