Pharmacological Characterization of Inositol 1,4,5-tris Phosphate Receptors in Human Platelet Membranes

Apparent maximum binding sites (𝐵_max) and dissociation constants (𝐾_𝑑) of [³H]Ins(1,4,5)P₃ binding to human platelet membranes. Saturation analysis of Ins(1,4,5)P₃ binding sites was carried out using different concentrations of [³H]Ins(1,4,5)P₃ as described in Section 2. Nonspecific binding was determined in the presence of 10 𝜇M D-Ins(1,4,5)P₃. Each value is the mean ± S.E.M for five independent experiments performed in duplicate.
