Higher Cortisol Predicts Less Improvement in Verbal Memory Performance after Cardiac Rehabilitation in Patients with Coronary Artery Disease

In a repeated measures model, significant intrasubject effects (F1,50 = 5.50, ) indicate less improvement in verbal memory performance over one year in the high cortisol group (dashed line) compared to the normal cortisol group (solid line). No significant intersubject effects were found.
