Effect of NaCl concentration on the DNA methylation activity of M.EcoP1I. The effect of NaCl concentration (0–200 mM) on the DNA methylation activity (nM of methyl groups transferred per min) of M.EcoP1I (400 nM) was determined using 1 M pUC19 plasmid DNA and 1 M of [3H-methyl]AdoMet under standard conditions.
