Synthesis of Isopropyl Ferulate Using Silica-Immobilized Lipase in an Organic Medium

<table>Effect of salt ions on the synthesis of isopropyl ferulate. The silica-bound lipase pre-exposed to the selected salt ions (1 mM) for 1 h at 45°C was used to achieve esterification of isopropanol and ferulic acid (100 mM : 25 mM) in DMSO under shaking in 3 h.</table>
