Assays were carried out at optimal concentration of F-6-P (3.3 mM) and ATP (0.1 mM) following the procedure as described in Section 2. The metal ion concentration in each case was 3.3 mM. The rate of reaction determined at 3.3 mM MgCl₂ is considered to be 100%.
