Culture conditions: cultivation was carried out with 1.0% olive oil and 0,2% yeast extract, at 28°C and 180 rpm for 5 days. A sample under the same conditions was used as control for each experiment. Label: n.d. no activity detected under the assay conditions. Statistically significant differences between the mean values of biomass, hydrolytic activity, and esterification were defined using the Scott-Knott test. 1averages followed by distinct letters differ by Scott-Knott test at the level of significance 0.05.
