Inheritance Pattern of Temephos Resistance, an Organophosphate Insecticide, in Aedes aegypti (L.)

Dosage-mortality relationships of the TR and TS strains of Aedes aegypti showing break/inflection points on - lines of and backcrosses. The line showed two inflection points at 0.008 mg/L and 0.03 mg/L, indicating the cessation of individuals and individuals, respectively. Further the backcross lines also showed one inflection point each at 0.004 mg/L indicating complete mortality of individuals leaving behind only individuals signifying monogenic inheritance.
