Genome-Wide Gene Expression in relation to Age in Large Laboratory Cohorts of Drosophila melanogaster

Percent survivorship females from cages A and B over the course of the experiment (day 79 in the cages). Peak of death occurs near day 31. The -axis is the number of days the D. melanogaster remained inside the boxes. The -axis shows the percent survivorship of the population at each day of the experiment. The cages were each initiated with ~12,000 once mated females. An overall decrease in survivorship was observed between days 30 and 60.
