Performance of the concatenation of arithmetic coding and raptor code for infinite channel coding length, source length 𝐾=10000, and a BSC with 𝐶=0.5. 𝛿_𝑠=0.3821, and 𝛿_𝑐=0 are the values of rate-gaps for the operational Shannon limit (4). For the base line SSCC, these rate-gap values are empirically found to be 𝛿_𝑠=0.3821 and 𝛿_𝑐=0.035.
