Scale Expansion of Community Investigations and Integration of the Effects of Abiotic and Biotic Processes on Maintenance of Species Diversity

Supplementary Material

Because the flora subregions had been determined as expanded ecological communities, there were 11 ecological communities in Yunnan province of China. Each community had a different number of plant species, the number of families and genera, flora composition, natural geography and environment. These were defined as community characteristics at the expanded ecological scale besides local community characteristics. In the results of the article, the number of plant species and the number of families and genera have been showed but others have not been done because there are not pages enough to discuss them. In the Supplemental materials, we show flora composition, endemic species, and some geographical substitutions in species distribution as well as the relationships among them and natural geography and environment.
