Antibacterial Properties of Alkaloid Extracts from<i> Callistemon citrinus</i> and<i> Vernonia adoensis</i> against<i> Staphylococcus aureus</i> and<i> Pseudomonas aeruginosa</i>

<div>The effect of ampicillin,<i> C. citrinus</i>, and<i> V. adoensis</i> alkaloids on growth of<i> S. aureus</i> and<i> P. aeruginosa</i>. Concentrations of 1.67 mg/mL and 1 × 10<sup>6</sup> cfu/mL of the extract and bacteria, respectively, were used.
