The accumulation of Rhodamine 6G over time. The graphs are a plot of Rhodamine 6G concentration inside the cells after 30 minutes of incubation against the sample used (plant alkaloid or reserpine). Glucose was used as positive control to provide a baseline increase in accumulation and as energy for the ATP-dependent efflux pumps. Error bars denote the standard deviations from the mean ().
