Effect of Rabbit Epididymal Antimicrobial Peptide, REHb P, on LPS-Induced Proinflammatory Cytokine Responses in Human Vaginal Cells In Vitro

Determination of REHb P binding to the LPS by ELISA. REHb P bound to LPS in a dose-dependent manner. Maximum binding was observed with 60.61  M of peptide. No binding of nREHb P to the LPS was observed. Values represent the mean ± S.D. of triplicate determinations performed on different days. Level of significance ( and in compared to nREHb P group) were calculated by ANOVA test followed by a post hoc Bonferroni analysis.
