Pleural Fluid Soluble Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid Cells-1 in Complicated and Uncomplicated Parapneumonic Pleural Effusions

<table>ROC curve analysis showed that pleural fluid sTREM-1 had a sensitivity of 85.19% and a specificity of 83.33% for differentiating between complicated and uncomplicated parapneumonic pleural effusions at an optimal cutoff value of 250.5 pg/mL. The area under the ROC curve (AUC) was 0.9336.</table>
