Comparison of mean points obtained from the histological evaluation of synovial tissue. Compared to the control group and tetracycline group, in the statine group a statistically significant difference was determined in reduced cell hyperplasia, hypertroph, and inflammatory cell infiltration, in the cell layer covering the synovia and proliferation of granulation tissue, vascularisation, and reduced inflammatory cell infiltration in the subsynovial area (). No difference was determined between the tetracycline group and the control group (). The results are given as mean points with standard deviation.
