Analysis of covariance for proportion of individuals climbing as a function of length of leg IV while controlling for differences between the suborders Eupnoi and Laniatores. The ANCOVA was significant (Adjusted 𝑅²=0.8895,𝐹_3,6=25.15,𝑃<0.001) and the significant interaction between leg length and suborder indicates a difference in the slopes between Laniatores and Eupnoi (𝐹_1,6=7.876,𝑃=0.031). However, suborder had no significant effect indicating that there was no difference in the intercept of the relationship for the two taxa (𝐹_1,6=0.964,𝑃=0.364).
